Kate has been our photographer for over 3 years, starting with our engagement, then wedding, then to the addition of our first child. What we love about Kate's photography is that it isn't super posed, all shots are very natural looking. Kate is also amazing with kids, our daughter seems to "act up" at every photo shoot, but somehow Kate miraculously gives us many picture options to choose from.

David and I really enjoyed having our engagement pictures taken by Kate. It felt very awkward at first but Kate put us at ease. She was very open to letting our personalities show in the pictures as we tried different things. The pictures turned out awesome! She was able to play with color, light and angles to create fun, contemporary and classic looks. We have had lots of compliments on them from others. I'm glad Kate was able to capture this special time in our lives that we will look back and remember forever.

Kate took our family pictures on a morning where one child peed on our bed, one child spit up all over my first outfit, I never showered, my husband was cranky, and we forgot the screwdriver to set up the bubble machine. Despite all of that, Kate managed to get great pictures with all of us smiling, laughing, and happy. Kate, I love how Daniel and Sophia's pictures came out. I was surprised that we got so many good shots from the kids, even though they were running around and not sitting still for a moment! I e-mailed the pictures to the entire family and have framed three of them. Both grandparents wanted their own prints as well. Thank you for making the session worthwhile, we are definitely going to repeat this next year.

Our family (three generations!) of five adults and three children ages 6, 6, & 4 used Kate McCoy for a family photo at our home this past November. The whole sitting was fun, low-key, no pressure, and we got the best results we have ever had for family pictures. It is hard to get EIGHT people to do the "right" thing for a photo shoot, but it was unbelievable how many great shots Kate got. Kate gave us suggestions but really let us be ourselves. There was a quick turnaround time, and all of the pictures were of a high quality with great detail and color. We used one of the shots for our Christmas card picture. Hands down at least 50% of the people who received our Christmas card called to ask who took the picture!! We would use Kate over and over for our photography needs and recommend her highly to anyone!

Kate is a wonderful photographer and such a pleasure to work with. We absolutely love the quality of her photos, she always manages to make the pictures look very natural, not an easy task with our two young children. I could tell within a few minutes of our first session that she would be great with the kids, and sure enough, my two year old loves her! We love that she is creative with her shots, but also is very accommodating when we have requests for certain poses. We look forward to continuing to have Kate capture the special moments as our family grows.
